Kim Scott moved to Oregon in 1979 from Montana where she lived and attended Emmaus most of that time. She moved to Seattle in 1986 where she received her nursing degree. Although Lynn Kahle and his family came to Emmaus in 1995, his connection with the Lutheran church goes much farther back than that.
