I grew up in Fargo, North Dakota, where I learned that winter is not just a season, it’s an experience! After high school, I joined the Army Reserves, moved around a bit from San Antonio to Los Angeles to Scottsdale, back to Fargo, and then to Bismarck, North Dakota. In 1998, my husband Stewart and I made our way to Eugene, where I started working for the City of Eugene as a software developer. I earned my degree in Business Information Systems and have spent over 25 years navigating the City’s IT department.
In 2023, my husband Stewart and our two teens joined the Emmaus community, and from our very first visit, we felt welcomed and inspired by its mission of reconciliation. Outside of work and church, I love spending time with family and friends, cooking up new recipes, reading, and indulging in my hobbies like playing Zelda and building with Legos.
I’m honored to be a part of the council and to contribute to the meaningful Emmaus work that supports and strengthens our community.
