Other Shared Projects:
Quilts are made for Lutheran World Relief, the Eugene Mission, as gifts to our high school seniors, and to sell at the annual Holiday Bazaar. Material to make the quilts is donated and Women of Emmaus pay for the batting.
“As a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world.”
Note: It is a policy of the Women of the ELCA to include all women members of the congregation in its organization, so we encourage any woman interested to join a circle for Bible study, service, and fellowship!
If you are unable or choose not to attend monthly meetings you are still a member of the Women of Emmaus Lutheran Church (ELCW). Please feel free to participate in any way that fits your lifestyle.
