Profile

I grew up in Wenatchee, Washington but have lived in Eugene since January 1992. Brad and I have 3 adult children, 2 daughters in law and 2 adorable grandchildren. We attended Emmaus years ago then left for a brief time to join our son and his wife at another church. When we came back to Emmaus in 2023 it was like we never left. We are so happy to be back worshipping in a community that is welcoming, loving and inclusive. I work as a Dental Hygienist and office manager but I am getting ready to retire from full time work as of July 23. I plan to work one day a week “for a while”. I have been in dentistry since 1977, having started first as a dental assistant while in high school. I have thoroughly enjoyed my career but am so looking forward to retirement! My interests include reading, quilting, cooking and scrapbooking so I am looking forward to having more time to spend doing those activities.
