My husband, Jim, and I moved to Eugene from Anchorage, AK in 2023 to be closer to our kids after retiring. From our first visit to Sunday service, we knew that Emmaus was the right fit for our family. It did not take long for us to become involved in our congregation. Jim serves with the Thursday yard crew, we attend the Bible study group that meets on Tuesdays, and I sing in the choir along with our daughter, Grace. Emmaus is such a vibrant church and, having served in several roles in my last congregation, I am happy to serve as the Worship Ministry council member.
