I began attending Emmaus three years ago, after my husband David Hall and I relocated to Eugene from Southern California for David to pursue his PhD at the University of Oregon. I have spent the first five years of my career working in non-profit fundraising and fundraising technology, and I’m pursuing my Master’s of Education and teaching credential at the University of Oregon starting this fall. In my free time I love to sew (upcycling quilts and vintage textiles into clothing), and spend time outdoors. David and I have found a home at Emmaus thanks to the wonderful 2345 group, and I look forward to continuing to invest in this community by serving on council.
